Summer Days

We are wrapping up July here in HOT Alabama! This summer has been a scorcher. All I can say is, I'm glad I'm not pregnant! HAHA. (Both of my kids are August babies.) Whew, it is HOT!

We have had so much fun going to the museum, visiting the splash pad, participating in the library summer reading program, making lots of trips to Chic-fil-a (ha!), and enjoying our sprinkler and baby pool in the back yard. I'm really not ready for summer to end in a lot of ways, but I'll be excited for some cooler weather!

(My sweet boy. He loves his mama so much.)

My girl is so creative! I am just amazed at her all the time.

At least one day a week we all three make a trip to a grocery store. Lately, I've been going to Publix for a few things that no one else carries. This is the best grocery store ever! From the shopping carts for kids to the free cookies and the most polite customer service I've ever experienced....it is the best. Just saying.

Andrew went to California for the first two weeks in July! We sure did miss him while he was gone! He went to the WorshipU school at Bethel Church in Redding. He had an amazing experience and I am hoping he will be a *guest* on my blog and write about it soon. I don't know if I can convince him to write a post to share, but I am going to try. (Ha!)

(Audrey was so excited to pick up Daddy at the airport!)

Charlie's new "thing" is jumping. The boy loves to jump all the time, especially if he can jump off of something. Here is a little video of his new endeavor.

(Love him!)

A couple of weeks ago, Audrey did some awesome dancing that we were able to catch on video. Enjoy some "Tay-wor Swipt".

I was able to snap a pic of Charlie walking with me hand-in-hand from the van to the museum. (Incredible multi-tasking skills, thank you, I know.) He has refused to wear shoes and was excited that day to wear them. His words, "Mommy! Sooose! Sooose!". So I put them on him. It was so wonderful to not carry him! He walked like a big boy holding my hand for a really long way. I had to document this milestone! He will still wear shoes *sometimes*...making progress.

We also had a fun few days at the lake with my sisters! Audrey did amazing in the pool!!

Charlie had just stubbed his toe in the picture below, so he was done with the pool after that. He wasn't a huge fan of the big pool. He prefers sprinklers and a baby pool.

Reunited!! I miss them so much!

A few Sundays ago, we took the kids to the splash pad. It was Andrew's first visit there. The kids loved Daddy going with us!

After the splash pad, we headed over to one of our favorite places, McFarland Park.

Isn't she a sweetie? She loves to pick flowers and play outside.

On another note, I ran across this picture below from my phone and it surprised me. My skin. It reminded me of my new business venture that I started at the end of April with Rodan + Fields, and how much this company is changing my life for the better. I know I am in a cap and probably sweaty and gross. But this is me, with clear skin, and I am not sure if I have on makeup or not. I may have a little mineral peptide powder on. I am so thankful. It's so nice to have clear skin again. I mean, really. It's been so long for me and I just had to share this!

(Plus, who doesn't love a sweet sleeping Charlie picture? That baby. He is so precious!)

Most of my friends and family know what I am doing these days as my little side gig. I am so excited about this business, the skincare products, my sweet customers who are loving their skin again....there is so much to be thankful for. I received this bracelet in the mail this past week as a gift for my achievements so far. One of many I hope!

And here are my sweet babies at lunch this past Sunday. Audrey kept loving on Charlie. I just love them so much! I am so thankful and blessed. Blessed, blessed, blessed!!

I'll end with this one...
No we are not potty training! HAHA. But he sure thought it was fun to sit on the potty. I'm starting to introduce the idea.

Happy Tuesday!
