Charlie is such a happy baby. He is becoming more content and is starting to babble and coo. I took him back to the doctor on Friday because it looked like he had developed thrush and also might have acid reflux. I was right, he has both. Thankfully we have medicine now for the thrush and acid reflux. I am not convinced the medicine for acid reflux is working yet. He is spitting up often, and most days he has a "good" projectile spit-up. Tonight it happened to land all in my hair. (It was my fault -ha- I trusted him a little too much and didn't cover up with a burp cloth. Ooopsie!)
The next two pictures are of Audrey at one month old. This first one you cannot see her hair, so I posted another. Her hair was thicker than Charlie's...a little more "poofy". They look so much alike!
I forgot to post pictures of Audrey holding Charlie for the first time. He was a week old.
Audrey is really starting to love on her brother. She says constantly, "Oh Chahh-weee!". It is so cute. I need to get it on video. She also likes to tickle him, to which she will say, "His likes that!". She is so hilarious.
This morning she said, "Mommy, take our picture! I hold his hand!" Look how sweet my little loves are! Love it, love it.
Mr. Charlie has probably back-tracked a little on his sleeping. He will usually sleep in 2-3 hour stretches. If Andrew takes a shift, he will almost always sleep 4 consecutive hours. WHY!? Oh of course I am so excited, but the little stinker will not do that for me yet. (Or anymore, I should say.) I am losing hope that my sweet boy will sleep through the night as quickly as his sister did. Oh well, he will sleep one day. (And so will I....)
Here's to five weeks old tomorrow....! I am holding out for 3 months old because I just have to believe things will be easier and I will be much more rested at that point. It just has to be better. That's what I keep telling myself anyway!
Love those sweet little babies.
